The Monolina is an easily transportable instrument with great sound, which is equally suitable for concerts, meditation, wellness and with sound massage as a body monochord. With its gently arched body, the Monolina adapts perfectly to the different human body shapes and spreads the sound directly over the touched areas on the whole body.

In addition, it is wonderful in the elderly care, working with children or as accompaniment of overtone singing.

The strings of the Monolina can be stroked, plucked, or played percussively with the bamboo sticks like a dulcimer / Santoor. The arrangement of the monochord strings always contains an octave and a fifth tuning, based on a tambura, which gives the sound an opening and carrying character.
In addition to the monochord, five strings can be tuned to a major or minor pentatonic using a vocal template and riders. These melody tones are similar in tone to the koto. You can selectively supplement the monochrome play and set wonderful accents, such as the idea of ​​a melody.
