ZAPHIR Chimes

Zaphir  chimes are authentic musical instruments, each part is being hand made by dedicated craftsman in our workshop, in the original design that we created for Shantis.

The dimensions of this instrument coincidate with the naturel principles related to laws of equilibrium  "the Golden Ratio"  therefore are fundamental for the quality of  sound  waves.
Cylindre : Hight +/-125 mm, wide +/- 65mm

The eight cords of different length, are welded with silver into a metal plate at the base of a resonance tube.
Through precise tuning of the different tone ranges, the  harmonic progression of tones switching into overtones gets into a circular flow ...

The different tunings and specific timbres of our instruments, combined with their colored design, may join  the naturel frequences of seasons, the elements, or chakra's, and are often used in sound therapies, for relaxation or healing  . . .

Allthough the sound has a wonderful effect on children, the chime is not a toy ..

Hold the chime by the upper cord, move it gently ... outside, sheltered from rain a light breeze will stirr an unexpected melody...
