The balls of the head are made in precise custom by hand in Germany. Each head is sanded and roughened from a blank elaborate process. The material used is a high-quality natural rubber, which has been treated in a special way so that scratching or other damage does not occur when rubbing the gong. The composition of the materials, as well as the processing by hand allows the outstanding variety of sounds. The handle is flexible and unbreakable. It has a thickness of 6 millimeters and is about 16 inches long. The number in the item number indicates the size of the head of the Lava Edition (30-40-50-60 mm). Care and tips:
If you want to have fun with the gong drivers for a long time you should consider the following:

• After playing the gong, it is best to put it back in a sealed, preferably opaque bag - so it is less exposed to UV light
• Do not store the gong drivers on or near the heater, nor expose them to prolonged exposure to the sun (such as windowsill).
• The gong rubbers have a so-called "aging protection", but it does not last forever. This protection may cause occasional white spots on the surface, which is not a concern. Remedy here creates a short "shower" with hot water. Then allow to air dry.
