The Kalimba 15 is carefully handcrafted from solid American cherry (black cherry) at Hokema in Germany. The surface is treated with vegetable oils and waxes and polished.

The 15 sounding reeds are precisely tuned in the G major scale, allowing a variety of songs to be played. The Kalimba 15 is equally well suited for improvising and intuitive playing, as well as for chordal accompaniment of melodies.
