The unique “Koshi” chimes are high-quality musical instruments, handcrafted in France at the foot of the Pyrenees. Each chime is the result of refined craftsmanship.
The four chimes, crafted in the French Pyrenees, each have their own unique tuning inspired by different habitats on our planet: Mountain, Forest, River, and Ocean.
Unlike the classic Koshi chimes, the Earth Symphony chimes are tuned to concert pitch A (440 Hz) as the reference tone. Each of these musical instruments features a wooden resonator and 12 steel bars soldered with silver solder, which are struck by a newly redesigned mallet made of brass and coconut shell.

The classic ‘Koshi’ chimes are available in four different tunings, named after the elements. Each has its own magical timbre. They can be played harmoniously together with all the others.
Eight tone bars of varying lengths are soldered with silver into the metal disc at the lower end of a cylindrical bamboo resonator. The extremely precise tuning produces a harmonious interplay of pure tones and overtones. The overtones of the shorter bars gradually become dominant and thus turn into fundamental tones, creating a circular sequence of tones.
