4 KOSHI Classic Chime Set & Chime Bag
The unique “Koshi” chimes are high-quality musical instruments, handcrafted in France at the foot of the Pyrenees. Each chime is the result of refined craftsmanship.
Eight tuning bars of varying lengths are soldered with silver to the metal disc at the bottom of a cylindrical bamboo resonator. The extremely precise tuning produces a harmonious interplay of pure tones and overtones. The overtones of the shorter bars gradually become dominant and thus turn into fundamental tones, creating a circular sequence of tones.
